Meeting with PGS and CoP consultants

CABI had meetings with consultants for Participatory Guarantee Scheme (PGS) and Code of Practices (CoP) to discuss activities and plans relating to PGS implementation on pepper, PGS training for country partners, contents for building CoP on peppercorn and addressing comments on the draft CoP.
The meetings with the consultants and outcomes are summarized below:
  • Jan 2021 - Project team members meet together with consultants

  • Mar 2021 - Strategy and plan for overall CoP development

  • Apr 2021 - Discuss organising a meeting with the partners to explain PGS and a meeting with potential participating companies

  • May 2021 - Introduction and understanding of PGS by Grant Vinning and Ino Mayu (international and national PGS consultants)

  • Jun 2021 - Discussion on the first draft of CoP
