The meeting of the PPP Task Force (PPP) on Pepper and Spices 2023 outlined activities for the pepper and spices industry in Vietnam
The meerting brought together the spices and pepper stakeholders together to discuss on matters related to the industry. Some of the sessions presented:

Session 1: Scaling sustainable production and trade of Vietnamese spices (pepper and cassia)

  • Report on activities and results of the public sector in developing the pepper industry
  • Evaluate the implementation of the MoU signed between PPP and SSI
  • Report on activities of the year 2023 of the PPP TF group
    • Crop report 2023, outlook 2024>
    • Progress report on import tolerance of Vietnamese pepper exported to the US market proposed by IDH, PPD, VPSA, and ASTA
  • Summary of the recent PPP TF cassia working group meeting
  • Session 2: Crop report 2023 and Vietnam Pepper Outlook + Updates on EU Sustainability Due Diligence
